Santa Catalina de Alejandria Cathedral, which was constructed in the third and last period of Spanish architecture, can be reached by foot in just three minutes.
There is a lively core of Carrera 6 that is loaded with upscale restaurants and hidden rooftop bars, and it is only a five-minute walk away if you are interested in experiencing the rich culture of Latin America. On your way to the top of Alquimico Bar, you will have the opportunity to mingle with both locals and visitors while enjoying a cocktail in the early evening.
Rooms
A standard room is spacious enough to accommodate two people, with the separate shower room and the stand-alone toilet cubicle providing the most space available. In each of the 51 rooms, there is a television that is equipped with channels from the United States, a docking station, and a Nespresso machine.
Upgrade to the Suite de Los Reyes for the most luxurious and exclusive place to stay, replete with a hydro massage bathtub that is included in the room. When the windows of Room 102, which is a regular room, are opened, you will see a private courtyard that is decorated with water features. This patio is ideal for spending a peaceful afternoon reading a book.
Services
As soon as you arrive at the hotel, you will be greeted with an iced fruit drink, which will help you feel more comfortable in the scorching heat of the outside environment. Although the spa does not offer full service, it does contain a massage room and an outdoor hot tub for guests to use.
Within the premises is a compact fitness centre that features a bike, an elliptical trainer, and a treadmill. At the front desk, guests have the ability to make requests for a range of services, one of which is a romantic meal on the beach, at which violins are not required.
Food and drinks
The El Gobernador by Rausch Restaurant is one of the few restaurants in the city that can be considered to be truly high-end dining options. The establishment is well-known for its use of sustainable produce, such as lionfish, as well as its traditional local cuisine that is infused with European flavours. Jaime Rodríguez, the Executive Chef of the establishment, has been a participant in international culinary championships, so you can be assured that you will be adequately protected.
The price of the accommodation includes breakfast, which is provided in the restaurant and is included in the room rate. The Eggs Benedict dish is a particular popular, and it is served around six in the morning so as not to let down those who enjoy getting up early. Fresh fruit cocktails and bar cuisine are also available for guests to enjoy on the rooftop pool area throughout the whole day.
